ABOUT US

Tom and Debra started out in 1993 as Branson Crane Service with nothing more than a small boom truck and a couple cones. They quickly developed the company into a full-size traffic control business; and Branson Traffic Control was born. Leading that industry in the four corners for many years, they decided to expand into pavement marking. After growing and operating the business for nearly 30 years and transforming into Branson Road Works, Tom and Debra have entered retirement, handing operations off to their son Tommy. With such great opportunities in the road construction industry, Tommy plans to grow the company’s footprint with their current services as well as expand into new areas such and permanent signing and traffic control device supply.

TOMMY BRANSON JR. 

TOMMY BRANSON VICE PRESIDENT

Tommy Branson Jr graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Colorado State University in 2016.  While attending CSU, Joining a Business Fraternity, and Playing for the CSU Division 3 Mens hockey Team, Tommy ran his own house painting company, managing a team of 11 employees.  The business grew to $65,000 within 5 months, when Tommy decided to retire the business after making a healthy income for summer.  Immediately following graduation, Tommy began his career as a sales representative with Milwaukee Electric Tool.  Tommy spent about a year and half with MET, becoming the top salesmen in his 5 state territory, outselling the other 3 salesmen in that territory combined!

Realizing he didn’t want to live a life of traveling and moving around the country, at age 24, Tommy decided to move back to his hometown of Durango, CO and help run the family business.  With his sales and management experience, Tommy was able to quickly contribute, helping grow Branson Traffic Control 15% his first year in a management position.

After managing the pavement marking division since 2018, Tommy has now taken over all operations as Vice President of Branson Road Works.

TRAVIS DEAN

GENERAL MANAGER – TRAFFIC CONTROL

Travis Dean has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, having worked as both a Traffic Control Supervisor and a Striping Truck Driver Foreman at Branson Road Works. He is known for his exceptional communication skills and outstanding quality of work.

Outside of work Travis enjoys spending time on his family farm and working on building custom cars. This hobby has taught him the importance of attention to detail and quality workmanship, which he brings to his job every day.

Throughout his career, Travis has consistently demonstrated a commitment to delivering excellent results on every project. He takes pride in his work and is dedicated to ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standard.

With his hard work and dedication, Travis has become a valuable member at Branson Road Works, and currently serves as General Manager of the Traffic Control Division.

JACOB BACA

GENERAL MANAGER – PAVEMENT MARKING

Jacob Baca is originally from Edgewood, a small town just east of Albuquerque New Mexico. After graduating from high school and a brief year attending the University of New Mexico, he went to work as a motorcycle salesman. He was quickly promoted to a parts salesman, and eventually became the Parts Manager at one of Albuquerque’s top Powersports dealerships. Jacob’s passion for motorcycles started at a young age, racing motocross locally and across the country. This passion slowly turned into riding Harley’s, developing a strong love with the lifestyle.
Jacob ended up moving to Durango in 2018 to start a new chapter of his life. He started working at Branson Road works as a general labor and equipment operator. The lessons he learned from racing motocross like attention to detail, perseverance, strong work ethic and great attitude made him a perfect fit for the Branson Road Works Team! Jacob grew quickly through ranks at BRW, becoming a foreman after 1 year, and currently serves as General Manager of the Pavement Marking Division.
